Passengers is a highly interactive board game for 4 to 8 players which takes place on the colourful shores of Limbo, a place beyond the veil. Taking the role of a guiding spirit, you are either tasked with ferrying Souls to the safety of the Afterlands or sneakily trying to smuggle Demons across.
Smart placement of your Passengers, getting the best out of the unique Gifts you gather, and carefully considering what information to share and when, are all key to victory for your team.
Unique theme: Passengers takes place on the riverbanks of Limbo, a place beyond the veil. During the game, players take on the role of guiding spirits, tasked with ferrying worthy souls to the Afterlife. Unlike most artistic interpretations of this myth, Passengers is a celebration of colours and an interesting mix of cultural elements
High player count Play with up to 8 friends. Rounds go quite quickly, even with higher player counts. And because you should always pay attention to the moves, actions, and information shared by others, players will be engaged throughout the entire game
Easy to learn: After a quick setup, the game is played in 3 rounds, consisting of 3 easy phases each. You can teach Passengers to your non-gamer friends in a few minutes
Tactical communication: A key aspect to playing well is knowing what information to share, and when to hold your tongue. Is this a good time to bluff, or to tell the truth? And what do you make of the information shared by others? How does that influence your next decisions?
Depth and variety: Because the game mostly revolves around communication, interpretation and deduction, it goes much deeper than the slim rulebook would suggest. Additionally, the Kickstarter campaign will offer various ways to customise your experience each time you play.
Those who go HERE and click the ‘Notify me on launch’ button, will be sure to get their hands on a Yaesther card with alternative card art.
The card won’t add any extra gameplay, it is simply a token of appreciation for those keeping an eye out for the Passengers launch.
